When he saw the moon rising he said, "This (is) my Lord." But when it set he said, "If (does) not guide me my Lord, I will surely be among the people who went astray."
Then, when he beheld the moon rising, he said, "This is my Sustainer!"-but when it went down, he said, "Indeed, if my Sustainer guide me not. I will most certainly become one of the people who go astray!"
And when he saw the moon uprising, he exclaimed: This is my Lord. But when it set, he said: Unless my Lord guide me, I surely shall become one of the folk who are astray
When he saw the moon rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord." But when the moon set, He said: "unless my Lord guide me, I shall surely be among those who go astray."
Then when he saw the moon rising, he said, “This one is my Lord!” But when it disappeared, he said, “If my Lord does not guide me, I will certainly be one of the misguided people.”
Then, when he saw the moon rising he said, "This is my Lord" but when it set, he said, "If my Lord does not guide me, I will definitely become one of those lost people."
When he saw the moon rise and spread its light, he said, This is my Lord. But when it set, he said, If my Lord does not guide me, I will be one of the misguided people
Then when he saw the moon rising, he said: Is this my Lord? So when it set, he said: If my Lord had not guided me I should certainly be of the erring people
Then, when he saw the moon, that which rises, he said: This is my Lord. Then, when it set, he said: If my Lord guides me not, certainly, I would have been among the folk, the ones gone astray.
When night descended on him, he saw a star. He said: "Will this be my lord?" So when it set, he said: "I do not like setting things."
When he saw the moon rising, he said: “This is my Lord.” But when it set, he said: “If my Lord don’t guide me, surely I shall be among the people who go astray.”
Then when he saw the moon rising he said, “This is my Lord!” But when it set, he said, “If my Lord does not guide me, I shall surely be among the people who are astray.
So when he saw the moon rising up, he said: “This is my Rabb.” So when it set, he said: “Indeed if my Nourisher-Sustainer does not guide me, surely I would be from amongst a nation composed of people who have lost the track.
Afterwards he saw the moon shining, he said; "This is my Lord." But when it also set, he cried: "If my Lord does not guide me, I shall certainly become one of those who go astray."
Then, when he saw the moon rising, he said, 'This is my lord.' But when it set, he said, 'If my Lord does not guide me, I will be one of the erring people.'
Then, as soon as he saw the moon emerging, he said, "This is my Lord." Yet as soon as it set, he said, "Indeed unless my Lord guides me, indeed I will definitely be of the erring people."
When Abraham saw the rising moon, he said, "This is my lord." But when it faded away, he said, "If my Lord does not guide me I shall certainly go astray."
Later, when he saw the moon rising, he said, .This is my Lord. But, when it vanished, he said, .Had my Lord not guided me, I would have been among those gone astray
(The other night) when the moon was rising, he exclaimed, "This is my Lord." But when it went down, he said to himself and to the people, "Unless my Lord guides me, I surely will go astray."
As he saw the moon rising he said, "This is my Lord!" But when it went down he said, "I would surely be one of the misguided people, had my Lord not guided me."
When he saw the moon rising in splendor, he said: "This is my Lord." But when the moon set, he said: "Unless my Lord guides me, I shall surely be among those who go astray."
And when he saw the moon rising, he said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "Unless my Lord guides me, I will surely be among the people gone astray."
So when he saw the moon rising, he said: "This is my Lord." But when it disappeared he said: "If my Lord will not guide me, then I will be amongst the wicked people!"
And when he saw the moon rising he said, ‘This is my Lord,’ but when it too set, he said, ‘If my Lord does not guide me, I shall be one of those who go astray.’
Then when he beheld the moon uprise, he said: this is mine Lord. Then when it set, he said: were it not that my Lord kept me guiding, surely I must have been of the erring people
When (Azar) saw the moon rise all aglow, he said: "This is my Lord." But even as the moon set, (Abraham) said: "If my Lord had not shown me the way I would surely have gone astray."
Then when he saw the moon come up he said, ´This is my Lord!´ Then when it set he said, ´If my Lord does not guide me, I will be one of the misguided people.´
And when (on another night), he beheld the full moon rising in splendor, he said: "This is my Lord, (is it)!" But when it set, he said: "Unless my Lord guided me, I would surely be among the people gone astray."
Then, when he saw the moon rising, he said, ‘This is my Lord!’ But when it set, he said, ‘Had my Lord not guided me, I would surely have been among the astray lot.’
And when he saw the moon beginning to rise he said, "This is my Lord;" but when it set he said, "If Allah my Lord guides me not I shall surely be of the people who err."
So when he saw the moon rising, he said: this is my Master. But when it disappeared he said: if my Master does no guide me, I will be of the misguided people
When he saw the Moon rising in splendor he said, “This is my Lord.” But when the Moon set he said, “Unless my Lord guides me, I will surely be among those who are lost.
Similarly, after seeing the moon rising, he said, “Could this be My Lord?” But, after it set, he said, “If My Lord doesn’t guide me, I will stray.
Then, when he beheld the moon rising, he said: ´This is my Lord!´ But when it went down, he said: ´Were that my Lord did not guide me, I surely would have become among the people who have gone astray.´
So when he saw the moon rising, he said: "This is my Lord." But when it disappeared he said: "If my Lord does not guide me, then I will be among the wicked people!"
Then when he saw the moon rising, he said, "This is my Lord." But when it set, he said, "If my Lord does not guide me, I shall certainly be of the people gone astray."
Then when he saw the moon shining, said he, 'you tell this my Lord, then when it set, said he, 'if my Lord would not have guided me I would also have been of tee same who have gone astray.'
When he saw the moon rising, he said, "Maybe this is my Lord!" When it disappeared, he said, "Unless my Lord guides me, I will be with the strayers."
When he saw the rising moon, he said: 'This is my Lord. ' But when it set, he said: 'If my Lord does not guide me, I shall surely be amongst the astray nation.
Then when he saw the moon rising, he said: Is this my Lord? So when it set, he said: If my Lord had not guided me, I should certainly be of the erring people
So when he saw the moon, rising/emerging, he said: "That (is) my lord, so when it set/darkened, he said: "If (E) my lord does not guide me, I will be (E) from the nation the misguided."
When Abraham saw the moon appearing in splendor, he said: "This must be the Lord!" When the moon disappeared [beyond the light of the sun,] he said: "If God does not guide me, I will be like those who are lost."
Then when he saw the moon shining, he said, “(You proclaim that) this is my Lord?”; then when it set, he said, “If my Lord had not guided me *, I too would be one of these astray people.” (* Prophet Ibrahim was rightly guided before this event)
And when he saw the moon rise with spreading light, he said, `Can this be my lord?' But when it set, he said, `If my Lord guide me not, I shall surely be of the people who go astray.
Then when he saw the moon shining, he asked: ‘Is this my Lord (according to your view)?’ But when that (also) went down, he said (communicating to his people): ‘Had my Lord not guided me, I would surely have become (like you) one of those who go astray.
Then when he saw the moon rise with spreading light he said (to the people), `Is this my Lord (as you assert)?' But when it set he said, `Had my Lord not guided me aright I would have, invariably, been of the people who have gone astray.
When he saw the moon rising up, he said: "This is my lord." But when it set, he said: "Unless my Lord guides me, I shall surely be among the erring people."
When he saw the moon rising, he said, 'This is my Lord.' But when it set he said, 'If my Lord does not guide me I shall surely be of the people gone astray.
And when he saw the moon rise with spreading light, he said, 'Can this be my lord?' But when it set, he said, 'If my Lord guide me not, I shall surely be of the people who go astray.

When he beheld the rising moon, he said: ‘That is my God.‘ But when it set, he said: ‘If my Lord does not guide me, I shall surely go astray.‘
When he saw the moon rise, he said, “This is my Lord.” When the moon set, he said, “Unless my Lord guides me, I shall surely be among those who are lost.”
So then as he saw the moon rising, he said: "Will this be my lord?"; and when it set, he said: "If my Lord did not guide me, I would be a member of the lost folk."
Then when he beheld the rising moon, he said: “This is my Lord!†But when it set, he said: “If my Lord does not guide me, I will most certainly be one of those who go astray.â€
And when he saw the moon (his emotional identity; his sense of self sourcing from his emotions) he said, “This is my Rabb”... But when it set he said, “Indeed, if my Rabb had not guided me, I would surely have been among the astray.”
Then when he saw the moon uprising, he said: 'This is my Lord !' But when it set, he said : 'If my Lord does not guide me I shall surely be of the people gone astray.'
Then when he saw the moon, again with his inward sight, rising into view and over head it sat: "This is my Allah", he said. But again when it vanished from sight he said: "Unless the supreme controlling and influencing power actuates me with thought and guidance, I will certainly be lost in a maze"
Then when he saw the moon rising, he said, "This is my Fosterer," then when it set, he said, "If my Fosterer does not guide me I will definitely be among the people who are astray."
When he saw the moon rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord." But when the moon set, He said: "unless my Lord guide me, I shall surely be among those who go astray."
When he saw the moon rising he said, "This (is) my Lord." But when it set he said, "If (does) not guide me my Lord, I will surely be among the people who went astray.
